WOLFGANG WIMMER

September 21, 1934 – May 28, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Wolfgang Wimmer, at the age of 90, surrounded by his family that he loved dearly.  Beloved husband of the late Mary (Loch) for 64 years, loving father of Donna (Scott) and Gary (Danielle) and cherished grandfather of David (Elodie), Matthew and Vanessa and cherished great-grandfather of Livia.  Son of the late Irmgard Brodthage (nee Meyer) and Paul Wimmer.  Predeceased by his brothers Paul and Dieter, and sister-in-laws Katharina (Peter) and Elizabeth (Fritz).  He will be sadly missed by his sister Renate (late Lucien), nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A celebration of Wolfgang's life will be held at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Foret, Outremont, QC, H2V 2P9 (514-279-6540) on Saturday, June 14, 2025.  Visitations from 9:30a.m. to 11:00 a.m., funeral service at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception to honour Wolfgang.  A private burial will be held at a later date.
