Ileana Popovici, born Zilahi, peacefully passed away on August 6, 2023. Beloved wife of Dr. Radu Popovici. Daughter of Valentina and the late Tiberiu Zilahi. Loving mother of Calin and Alice, and of her grandchildren, Olivia, Victoria, and James.

Ileana was the core of the family, initiating life decisions that would forever change the course of the family and their future. From immigrating to Canada in 1992, to supporting all the family members through their life challenges and studies, her dedication and love will never be forgotten.

Ileana will forever be missed. Her love and devotion to her family was unparalleled. She lived and loved as no one can ever do. Funeral service will be at Kane & Fetterly on Monday, August 14, 2023, at 11:00 AM.
