At 83 years old, Aurella passed away at the Anna Laberge hospital following a prolonged illness.

Aurella was born to Gertrude and Blythe Bernier and was raised in Montreal. She attended Stanstead college. She married and lived in Nova Scotia for 13years. She then moved back to Montreal where she worked many different jobs while raising 5 children.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Connie, in 2018 and her sister Karin in2016. She is survived by her children: Karin-Ann Goral, Laurie Goral, Valerie Goral, and Lindsay Goral, and her sister, Wilma Bernier.

At Aurella's request she will be cremated.

A graveside service will be held at the Mount Royal cemetery, 1297 chemin de la Forêt, Outremont, QC H2V2P9 on Monday, Aug 21 at 3p.m. (meeting point at the office of the cemetery)
A gathering will follow at 16:30, Baton Rouge, rue 5385 Des Jockeys.
