Claire Boissonneault (née Roy)
1930 - 2023
We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Claire (Roy) Boissonneault on August 23, 2023, at the age of 93. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Roy and Marie-Anne Laflamme, and wife of the late Liguori Boissonneault.
She is survived by her children: France, the late Marie, the late Yves, Lyne (the late Gaétan Baron), Hélène and Marthe; her grandchildren: Karine Bélanger (Martin d'Astous), Cindy Bélanger, Vincent Baron, Philippe Baron (Joana Plamondon-Beaudoin), Jérôme Baron (Audrey Labrie), Sabrina Vincent (Marc-Antoine Pépin); great-grandchildren: Jean Christophe and Olivier Laurin, Maïla and Emma Leclerc, Florence, Édouard, Alexandre and Gabrielle Baron.
She was the sister of: the late Willie Roy (the late Véronique Boissonneault), the late Cécile Roy (the late Robert Verville), the late Lucien Roy (the late Alice Rodrigue), the late Rose Roy (the late Joseph-Edmond Richard), the late Réal Roy (Charlotte Gagné).
She was the sister-in-law of: the late Gervais Boissonneault (the late Imelda Vachon), the late Laurent Boissonneault (the late Denise Lehoux), the late Elphège Boissonneault (Réjeanne Hallé), the late Gilles Boissonneault (the late Lucienne Gobeil), the late Denis Boissonneault, Yolande Boissonneault (late José De Amaral), Bernard Boissonneault (late Roseline Côté), late Liliane Boissonneault, Laurence Boissonneault (Jean-Noël Rousseau), Jocelyn Boissonneault (Véronica Boland).
She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
The family will welcome you at the complexe funéraire de la Cité located at 1600 Av. le Gendre, Québec, QC G2G 2W5, on Friday, September 1st from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 2 at 2 p.m. in the Très Saint-Rédempteur church (2430 Rte des Rivières, Saint-Rédempteur, QC G6K 1E3), followed by burial in the same parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Quebec Foundation of Alzheimer Societies would be appreciated.
