It is with much sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of our youngest sister Genevieve (Genny) on September 1st, 2023. She was the fourth daughter born on July 5th, 1937 to the late Joseph Ryszkiewicz and Michalina Jodczyk.

Genny was predeceased by her best friend, the love of her life, devoted and loving husband Albert Couture, her sister, Helen, and nephews Edward and Joseph.

She leaves in deep mourning her sisters, Leokadja (Lee) (Edward Kaminski) Fairfield, CT.; Marianne (late Anthony Kowalczyk), her nieces Lorraine (Lawrence Art), Maryann (late Francis Tallon), nephew Timothy Kaminski (Diana), and their families, plus her grand nieces and nephews, and great grand nieces and nephew, and supporting and caring friends.

As per Genny’s wishes, there will be no viewing. A celebration of life will be held at Eglise de Saint-Raphael-Archange de l’Île Bizard, 495 Rue Cherrier, L'Île-Bizard-Sainte-Geneviève, QC H9C 1G4 on September 11th, 2023 at 10:30AM. Burial will be private at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery at a later date.
