Our beloved mother, Jeanne, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. 

Born in Canton, Ohio, Jeanne was the devoted wife of the late Gerry Habib.   They married in Canton in 1957 and moved to the Town of Mount Royal in Montreal where she has lived ever since.  Jeanne is survived by her three children, Karl (Karen Circosta), Christine (Phil Lemme), and Richie (Christine Iannuccilli).  She was a loving "Sitto" to Michael, Justin and Jordan; cherished sister to her three brothers Dicky, Fritzy, and Billy; sister-in-law to Bernie Habib; extraordinary Auntie (aka AJ) to her nieces and nephews; a unique, and special friend to many. Jeanne was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Bebe Massouh, infant son Michael, sisters-in-law, Leona Assaly, Tucky Massouh, and Betty Massouh; and brothers-in-law, George Assaly and Albert Habib. 

Jeanne was a true family matriarch, the embodiment of unconditional love, and an inspiration to all. Her legacy is one of loving kindness, compassion, empathy, generosity, sense of humour, and fun. Most importantly, she loved her family.  She transcended all generations and social standing, and encouraged everyone to see, feel, and project the very best in themselves. Jeanne always had an open door and a nice word to say about everyone. She will forever be remembered in our hearts as our "Jeannie Queenie."

 Special acknowledgement and love to all her extended family and multitude of friends, for their unwavering love and support.

     The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, Sept 13th from 10am-12pm at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 chemin de la Foret, Outremont followed by a service from 12pm-1pm and a reception from 1:30-3:30.

     In lieu of flowers, any gesture of kindness in Jeanne's memory would be appreciated.
