Beverley Joan Rozek O’Donnell, née Taugher passed away peacefully on September 4th, 2023. She was the cherished daughter of the late Marjorie Dade and Patrick James (Percy) Taugher and wife of the late Joseph Julius (Joe) Rozek and the late J. Vincent (Vince) O’Donnell.  She leaves to mourn her O’Donnell family, cousins and many friends.

Beverley partnered with her late husband Joe in business for over 37 years, importing high end shoes from Europe. An avid skier, Beverley spent her winter weekends at her chalet in Sutton and summers at Notre-Dame-de-L’île-Perrot.

Beverley was a pillar of the Irish Community in Montreal. She was the first female member of St. Patrick’s Society and served as its Secretary for many years. Beverley was a Director of Saint Patrick’s Square and a Warden of Saint Patrick’s Basilica from 1999 until 2018. Beverley was the President of the Roof Fundraising Committee and successfully raised over $600,000 to see the Basilica’s copper roof replaced. Her volunteering also included being a board member of Loyola College Alumni and a trusted guide at Chateau Ramezay.

Beverley’s Funeral will be held at Saint Patrick’s Basilica, on Thursday September 21st at 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon.
