Obituary
Nicole Casgrain
1935 - 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Nicole Casgrain, on October 22, 2023 in Montreal, at the age of 88. She was the daughter of Jean Casgrain and Jeanne Beaulieu.
Companion and accomplice for more than 50 years to her husband, the late Dr. Raymond Farmer, she is survived by her children, Jacques (Patricia Calabrese), André (Danielle Montour), Sylvie and Colette, and her grandson Éric (Maria Segura). Predeceased by her brothers Pierre and Bernard and her sister Micheline, she is also survived by her sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, cousins and many relatives and friends.
Family was at the heart of her concerns. She was interested in everyone. For her, life's moments, big or small, were opportunities to come together. Driven by her desire to help others, she was actively involved for many years as a volunteer in her parish, as well as in a number of assistance and mutual aid organizations in her community, including Meals on Wheels, Grossesse Secours, the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul Society and many others.
She left to join her loved ones who left too soon, including her youngest son, Daniel. We wish her a peaceful repose.
The family will receive condolences on Friday, November 17, 2023, from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 3955 Côte de Liesse Road, Montreal.
A religious ceremony will follow at 2 p.m. in the Complexe chapel.
We would like to thank the staff of CHSLD Berthiaume-Du-Tremblay for their care, dedication and compassion.
