It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean-Guy Daoust on October 21, 2023 in Montreal, at the age of 81. He was the son of the late Edgar Daoust and Madeleine Brunet, and spouse of the late Mireille Chapdelaine.

He is survived by his daughter Myriam Chapdelaine-Daoust, brothers Yves Daoust and François Daoust (Gaétan Dostie), cousins Christiane Croze, Ghislaine Daoust and Danielle Beaulieu, as well as by many relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences at the Urgel Bourgie/Athos Funeral Complex, 6700 Beaubien Street East, on November 5, 2023, between 12:00 and 4:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., followed by a small reception on the premises.
