It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Antonio Maggio at the age of 69 on November 13th, 2023. After winning his battle with cancer, he sadly succumbed to the wounds of a damaged heart. He had the will, strength, and determination to overcome this heart disease. Sadly, he lost this fight and leaves us to join his beloved son, Christopher, who also left us too soon (2013).
Born on May 1, 1954, in Carlantino and raised in Provvidenti, Italy, until the age of 14 when he immigrated to Canada, Tony was a loving husband and eternally devoted father. He is mourned by his loving wife (Sandra) who he adored, his beloved three children Nanci (Kevin), Janna (Pedro) and Adam (Maryam), and six grandchildren, Kian, Syan, Cylus, Jaxon, Matteo, and Marco. He also leaves behind his sisters (Lucia and Tina) and nieces and nephews.
He was a hard worker and will always be remembered for having a heart of gold, and a smile and energy that lit up a room.
The family will receive condolences on Monday November 20, 2023, from 4 pm to 9 pm at:
