It is with great sadness that our family announces the peaceful passing of Giovanni Pugliese on February 14th, 2024 at Sacré-Cœur hospital in Montreal at the age of 84.
Born in Minturno, Italy on October 8th,1939 to parents Matteo and Assunta Pugliese, Giovanni lived a life full of compassion and kindness. 

He was loved by all who met him and made friends instantly.

Giovanni is predeceased by his brother Giuseppe Pugliese, sister Maria Pugliese (Mariano Conte), brother-in-law Giuseppe Di Girolamo, and niece Assunta Di Girolamo.
He is survived by his loving wife Johanna Pugliese, sons Matteo (Maryam), Peter (Trina), adoring grandson Massimo, sister Carolina Di Girolamo, nieces Maria Di Girolamo (Erminio) and Rosa Conte, nephews Stefano Di Girolamo (Gemma), Michael Pugliese (Monika), Matteo Pugliese (Linda), Benedetto Conte, Matteo Conte and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Belvedere Cemetery and Funeral Complex on Saturday February 24th from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, followed by a service from 3:00 to 4:00 PM.
