Condolences
Veronica opened her home to me when I really needed a place to stay for a whole week to study. Veronica was not only a great host and made me feel more than comfortable, she was a friend from karate. I admired her strength not only physically but emotionally as well. I will miss her.
Thank you for your kind words.
My deepest sympathies and thoughts to you, Alex, and to Veronica’s friends and family. Veronica was a strong, beautiful and talented woman with an infectious smile and a generous spirit. May she rest in power.

I had the privilege of working with Veronica during her time at Shopify. She had such a gift for research and cared so deeply for her team. We had wonderful conversations about life and the universe during her time there and I will cherish those forever. My heart goes out to you all at this difficult time, Veronica was loved by so many and will forever be remembered for her spirit, kindness and originality. Sending love ❤️

Our deepest and most sincere condolences. Veronica was kind, generous with her time to others. We are blessed to have known her, have her as our neighbor, and know her as friend.
Thank you for your kind words.
I am so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to Alex and the entire family at this difficult time.
My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. May God give you the peace that you seek. Veronica and I were best friends together in Toronto when I lived there, we managed a restaurant together in the Beaches and went to the Dominican Republic together. Years later when I was trying to move back to Toronto I wasn’t in a good place emotionally and psychologically, she saved my life one night and I will forever be grateful , we lost touch after that and I will always regret it now. I just looked her up thinking I would reach out to her and she’s gone.
