In Loving Memory of René. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of René Tousignant, son of the late Paul-Émile Tousignant and the late Pauline Lafrenière. René was a generous soul, always ready to offer his help to those in need. He touched the lives of everyone who had the chance to meet him, showing us the importance of living life to the fullest.

René is survived by his sisters Francine (Tom Smith) and Isabelle (Robert Chapman), his longtime friend Sonia Milaenen, his nephews and nieces Andrew, Jonathan, Nicolas, David, and Marie-Christine, as well as other family members and friends.

The family wishes to thank the palliative care staff at Granby Hospital for their excellent care.

Cremation will take place at Les Jardins Funéraires Bessette crematorium.

The family will receive condolences at LES RÉSIDENCES ET JARDINS FUNÉRAIRES BESSETTE DE WATERLOO, on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The burial will take place at a later date at St-Étienne-de-Bolton cemetery.
