It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alana Pine on April 23, 2025, at the age of 65, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on June 16, 1959, in Montreal, Alana was a beacon of warmth, strength, and joy to all who knew her.

Alana’s zest for life was evident in her passions—she found peace in yoga, excitement in traveling, and delight in sharing a glass of wine with loved ones. Her radiant smile and sparkling blue eyes were a reflection of her inner beauty and the love she extended to family and friends alike.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Shauna (Nate), and her cherished sisters, Cathy, Colleen (Ed), and Jo (Dave). Alana was predeceased by her beloved husband, Sean, her parents Fred and Anna, and her brother John.

She also leaves behind her in-laws and  a legacy of love in her nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly.

A celebration of Alana’s life will be held at Urgel Bourgie / Athos – Complexe funéraire Lasalle, located at 1275 Avenue Dollard, Lasalle, QC H8N 2J1. Visitation will be held on Saturday May 3rd, 2025,  from 2pm to 4pm followed by a service.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital for their compassionate care and unwavering support during Alana’s illness.

A special thank you to Cathy for your unconditional love, support and care, you were a blessing to her and to us through it all.
