It is with great sorrow that the family of Najat Haddad, born in Mtein, Lebanon, announces her peaceful passing on May 6th at the age of 80. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Samir Abboud, and her children, Dr. Carlos, Salim, Caroline, and her grandchildren.
Najat devoted her life to her husband and raised her children to the fullest extent in a God-honoring way.

Throughout her life, she demonstrated the values of empathy, courage, integrity, humility, and love. These qualities allowed Najat's children to establish a foundation of strong moral character. Furthermore, Najat's compassionate nature allowed her to understand others' feelings and to care for someone else.

Forgiveness comes naturally with Najat. She believed that her children should forgive others who do not deserve forgiveness unconditionally.

Najat was passionate about spending time with loved ones and making others around happy and comfortable. This involved the importance of family connection and strengthening bonds with close friends. She finds joy in social, physical, and leisure activities.

Najat had a strong religious faith in such a way she enjoyed attending church services and contributed to the church activities. She has been always a firm believer in her religion and has a strong devotion to God.

A prayer service will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, May 14th at Saint George Orthodox Church, 575 Jean-Talon Street E, Montréal, Qc, H2R 1T8. The family will receive condolences at the Church starting at 9:30 am. The burial will follow at 12:15 pm at the Mount-Royal Cemetery, 1297 Chemin de la Forêt, Outremont, QC, H2V 2P9.
