It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Francesco Bono on May 11, 2025 in Montreal. He was the husband of Mrs. Michèle Bono (née Gauthier) and the son of the late Giuseppe Bono and the late Nunziata Mazzone.

In addition to his beloved wife, Mr. Bono is survived by his sons Alessandro (Marjorie) and Massimo (Sendouss), and grandsons Malik and Emmanuel.

He is also survived by his brother and sisters, the late Domenico (Rosa), Rose (the late Nicodemo) and Caterina (Francesco), brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, the late Sylvia (the late Jack), the late Nicole (the late Claude), Jean-Pierre (Johanne), Danielle and Dominique (Gilles), nephews and nieces, and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on May 21, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie / Athos Funeral Complex, 6700 Beaubien St., Montreal. A mass will be celebrated on May 22 at 1 p.m. in the complex chapel, followed by interment at Repos St-François d'Assise.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
