Norma Hayes

(1927 to 2025)

With profound sadness our family announces the passing of a dear Mother, Mother-in-law, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother. She passed away peacefully on May 7th at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Norma was full of life, always front and center at any gathering. She spent many years doing volunteer work, notably with meals and wheels.

Norma leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion and joy. She was always ready to have a vibrant conversation with family, friends and even strangers. She left an enduring mark on all who knew her.

Norma was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert and is survived by her four children, Carolyn (Richard Renaud), Audrey, Jimi (Yvonne Turner) and Robbie, eleven grandchildren, Philip, Marc, Andrea and Paul Renaud, Nicole and Justin Desforges, and Micah, Joel, Eliza, Hannah and Lydia Hayes , ten great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
