Neville Alleyne
Neville Fenton Alleyne was born in Hague, Demerara in Guyana on October 26, 1939 and passed away in Scarborough General Hospital on December 22, 2022.
He was the patriarch of his family, the adoring big brother to his siblings, best father to his children, loving grand father to his grandchildren/great grandchildren and a strong and true friend to many. Neville was the eldest of 8 children born to Dorothy and Claude Alleyne. He is survived by his sister Thelma, brother Lennox, sisters Mayfield, Maureen Hazel, Claudine and predeceased by his brothers Carl and Conrad. He leaves behind his ex-wife and mother of his children Veronica Alleyne. He was a loving father to his predeceased son Steve, and is survived by Robin, Mark and Vanessa. He is the grandfather to Zoie, Julian, Sydney and Xavier and great-grandfather to Sade and Naomi. He embraced his son-in-laws Michael and Kishore and daughter-in-law Cheryl.
Neville will be dearly missed by all his friends and family here and abroad. His great smile and infectious personality always lit up a room. He was the friend or family member you always knew would be there for you to lend a helping hand or to check up on you.
He will never be forgotten.
Services have been entrusted to Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, and Visitation will take place at St. Margaret In-The-Pines Anglican Church on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 10 am – 12 pm, located at 4130 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough, ON. The Funeral Service will begin at 12 pm on Saturday, January 7, 2023. For those who cannot attend in person, please see below to join virtually. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks donations to be made to Canadian Cancer Society in Neville’s honour.
