It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of David Everett Platts. David passed away on July 24, 2024, at the age of 60, four years after being diagnosed with cancer.

His absence has created an indescribable void for his husband, Marco Robidoux; his siblings Susan Platts and Doug (Donna) Platts; his family-in-law Céline Robidoux and Léo Robidoux, Christian Robidoux and Carol Bradley, Stéphan Robidoux and Pascale Poitras; his godchildren Mathew, Madeleine, Simon, Alexis, Léa, Guillaume and Frédérique; and for all his close friends.

Born in Calgary on June 27, 1964, David was known and celebrated for his great generosity in all respects, his unlimited availability and his unconditional love for his family and friends.
