It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Clarence Cardinal Chung Tiam Fook on February 23rd, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Mitzy, the love of his life since 1951.

Devoted and loving Dad to his children Mary (Lloyd), Virginia (Andrew), Carl, Felicity, Clarence and Suzette (Reginald); grandchildren Lloyd, Bryan, Timothy (Jennifer), Jason, Tracy (Gavin), David, Naomi and 6 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind other Family Members and dearly close Friends. He was predeceased by his son Denis (Savitri) and granddaughter Maria.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Jewish General Hospital for the exceptional care received in the Emergency Department and on the K6 Unit. Special thanks to all the caring and devoted Nursing & Allied Health Team, Dr. S. Wojcik, Dr. V. Tagalakis, Dr. E. Levinoff, Dr. S. Mamane and their respective team of Residents. A sincere mention of gratitude and appreciation for the humane care provided by his Family doctor, Dr. B. Elfassy and all the Volunteers of the HELP Program as well as Hope and Cope.

Family will receive condolences at Urgel Bourgie funeral home, 3955 Côte de Liesse, Saint-Laurent, on Sunday March 12, from 2pm to 6pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 13, at 11am, followed by the burial.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Jewish General Hospital Foundation benefiting the Hospital Elder Life Program (HELP).
