With heavy hearts and deep sadness, our beloved dad, Gock Shew Hum passed away peacefully on April 14th, 2025 at 4 AM at the age of 94. 

He is a loving dad who lived an honourable life of working hard for the family and will be dearly missed.

Gock Shew is survived by his devoted loving wife, May Eng, his daughter Linda, his sons Wilson, Donald and Andrew.

A very special thank you to the health care team and staff at the Fleury Hospital; Marie-Clarac Hospital; Villa Medica Rehabilitation Center and the Jean Talon Hospital for their outstanding care and compassion during his stay with them. Although there is a painful emptiness since he left, we are relieved he has been freed from this difficult chapter in his life. “Death ends a life, not a relationship”. Lie in peace, Gock Shew, until we meet again.

A private family celebration of his life and interment will take place on Friday, April 25th, 2025 from 12 PM to 2 PM at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex & Cemetery, 1297 chemin de la Forêt, Outremont, QC, H2V 2P9.
