It is with immense sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marguerite Salem Massoud, widow of Milad Massoud, who left us suddenly on April 25, 2025, in Laval.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and a woman with a generous heart, she was deeply loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind her beloved children: Carmen (Nabil Shammas), Claude (Najib Chaghouri), Christiane (Tony Sarkis), and Antoine (Asma Wehbe).

Teta Margot leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of her grandchildren: Lisa (Peter Souaid), Stephanie, Paul, Joelle, Chrystelle, Murielle, Christopher, Andrew, Krysta, and Marc-Anthony, as well as her cherished great-granddaughter, Mia.

Her passing also brings great sorrow to her many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends across Canada, the United States, and Lebanon, all of whom were touched by her kindness and compassion.

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, located at 2500 Avenue des Perron, Laval.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Saint-Ephrem Cathedral, located at 3155 Boulevard Cartier West, Laval, followed by the burial at Laval Cemetery (Montée Saint-François).

In memory of her great heart and profound faith, a donation to Saint-Ephrem Church would be greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers.
