It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Giuseppe (Joe) Pagliaro on April 24, 2025, at the age of 60, after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Joe was the devoted husband of Anna, his beloved wife of 34 years, and a proud father to Anthony (Vanessa) and Melissa (Massimo). His greatest joy was being a Nonno to his cherished grandchildren: Giuseppe, Luigi, Briella, and Francesco.

He was predeceased by his parents, Lucia Briganti and Antonio Pagliaro. He leaves behind his loving wife Anna, his children, his grandchildren, as well as his in-laws Pasquina and Emilio Stabile, his sister Ida (Joe), his brother Sofio (Lina), his brothers-in-law Alberto (Florentina) and Claudio (Marla), along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Joe was a beautiful soul. He was kind, full of laughter, and always radiating positivity. His unwavering love, strength, and perseverance throughout his life and illness made him a true hero. His story of courage and resilience will serve as a source of hope and inspiration for all who knew him. Joe’s warmth, humour, and generous spirit brightened every room and will live on forever in our hearts.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, May 1, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday, May 2, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m, at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Home, 1255 Beaumont Avenue, Mount Royal.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2, at 12:00pm, at Our Lady of La Difesa, 6800 Henri Julien Avenue, Montreal, followed by the burial at Cote-des-Neiges Cemetery.
