It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Antonio Melfi on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the age of 89.

Antonio was born on August 16, 1935, in Casacalenda, Campobasso, Italy, and immigrated to Canada in 1955. He married Maria Giammaria in 1956 and together they embraced their new life in Canada. Antonio was caring, clever and very hard-working. He cherished his family and enjoyed DYI projects and taking care of his garden.

He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 69 years, Maria Giammaria, his loving children Vince and Miranda (Thomas Gale) and his cherished grandchildren Melissa, Thomas and Lauren. He is survived by his sister Vincenzina (Mario Troilo) in Italy, as well as other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie funeral complex located at 6700 Beaubien Street East, Montreal. A mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the funeral parlour, followed by a reception.
