It is with the heaviest of hearts and greatest of sadness that we announce the passing of Roberto Morena, who left us on Sunday, May 4th 2025, surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Robert was a loving father and devoted husband who was cherished by all who knew him. He will be forever missed by his wife, Marysa; his two daughters Jessica and Romina; and his son, Giuseppe.

He is also mourned by his parents, Mariantonia (née Piazza) and Giuseppe; his two brothers Vincenzo (Margaret) and Nicolò (Rima); his many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

Robert made it a point to live life to the fullest. His infectious laugh could be heard for miles and his signature smile brought comfort to all.  Nothing gave him greater joy than being surrounded by family and friends. Though taken from us too soon, Robert will never be forgotten.  Those we hold closest to our hearts never truly leave us; they live on in the kindness they shared and the love they brought into our lives.

The family will receive condolences at the Urgel Bourgie / Athos Funeral Complex, located at 1255 Beaumont Avenue, Town of Mount Royal, on May 15, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be held on May 16th 2025, at 12:30 pm at St. Brendan’s Parish, located at 3542 Boulevard Rosemont, Montreal, QC H1X 1K8.

In lieu of flowers, which Robert was allergic to, the family welcomes donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
