We are sad to announce the passing of Gisèle Matteau Bernardi, daughter of the late Année Lavergne and the late Ernest Bélanger, adopted daughter of the late Angéline Bélanger and the late Walter Matteau. She died on May 7, 2022 in Montreal at the age of 83. Widow of Joseph T. Bernardi, she is survived by her children Dave (Michèle Meunier) and Alan (Jessica Peñaherrera), her grandchildren Charles, Natasha, Sara, Anne, her sister Claire Matteau and her sister-in-law Pierrette (the late Marcel Matteau), as well as her nephews and nieces.
