With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Hiotakis on April 27, 2025.

Mary was a beloved mother to Tina (Nick) and Georgia, and a cherished grandmother to Gabriel, Jordan, and Josephine. Her love for her family was immeasurable, and she carried it with grace and unwavering devotion every day of her life.

Born on March 8, Mary embodied the spirit of International Women’s Day—strong, independent, and unapologetically true to herself. She was the very definition of resilience and compassion, always extending a hand to those in need. Her deep love for animals, especially her dear Samantha, reflected her nurturing heart.

Mary’s legacy is one of kindness, strength, and fierce love. She will be remembered for her generosity, her vibrant spirit, and the lasting impact she had on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Visitation will be held at the Mount Royal funeral complex, 1297 chemin de la Forêt, Outremont, QC H2V2P9 on Tuesday May 6 from 3pm to 6pm. A funeral service will follow at 6pm and a celebration of life will follow from 7pm to 9pm.
