Makhai Bennett-Ruddock
2008 - 2025
Makhai Bennett-Ruddock 16, died on April 15, 2025. Makhai was a victim of a senseless and brutal act of violence.
Makhai was born November 20, 2008, in Montreal Quebec. He is survived by his Father Marlon Ruddock, Mother Kanisha Bennett. He is the big brother to his sister and two brothers.
As well as, grandparents, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Makhai was in 10th grade, and was keenly interested in the world around him. He aspired to travel the world and become an Architect. He was a quiet thinker, had a very creative spirit, loved to draw and sketch pictures and anime. Makhai was very articulate, intentional with his words and actions. He loved boxing, basketball, fencing, and swimming, just to name a few. Makhai was FEARLESS and rose to all challenges, he never doubted himself and always showed that he was the "one to bet on".
Makhai had a very close relationship with God. He prayed for guidance, protection and refuge in his daily prayers. He loved his family, wanted to be loved and only wanted the best for everyone.

Westmount Seventh Day Adventist Church at 10:30am.

Followed by the burial at Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery at 1:15pm.
