George Tagalakis
July 20, 1933 - June 16, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, George Tagalakis, who left us peacefully at the age of 92. Born in Papaflessa, Greece, he lived a life rooted in strength, resilience, and deep devotion to family.
In 1958, he made the journey to Canada in search of a better life. With determination and hard work, he founded Bravo Pizzeria, which became a household name in small cities across Quebec. He settled with his family in Trois-Rivières, where he helped establish a Greek community.
He is survived by his cherished wife of 56 years, Georgia (nee Dimitropoulos) and his four loving children: Vicky (Michael) Ari, Ephie (Steve) and Anna (Andrew).
A proud and devoted grandfather, he will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren: John and George Pitsas, Dimitri and Lily Christopoulos, Nicholas and George Tsatas. He will also be deeply missed by his nephews, nieces and many relatives.
His life was a testament to hard work, love, and quiet strength. Though he may no longer be with us, he remains forever in our hearts.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the medical and nursing staff at the Jewish General Hospital and to his devoted caregiver, Deborah, for their exceptional compassion and care.
Visitation will be held at:
Urgel Bourgie

May his memory be eternal.
