Claude Gratton
1943 - 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Claude Gratton, at the Montréal Sacred Heart Hospital on May 15, 2024, at the age of 80.
He was the son of the late Charles-Édouard Gratton and the late Geneviève Dubord Gratton.
He leaves to mourn his wife Isabelle Salette, his children Jean-Philippe (Isabelle Laroche) and Sophie (Michel Palardy), his grandchildren (Thomas, Xavier, Margot, Chloé and Amélie) and his daughter-in-law and son-in-law, Annie (Gregory Laplanche) and Simon Delisle (Valérie Fernandez), and their children (Éloïse, Raphaël, Edgar, Henri and Adèle).
He also leaves to mourn his sisters Marie-Andrée and Céline (Luc Lareau), his brother Laurent (Diane Roy), nephews and nieces, and many relatives and friends.
The great Claude practised as a notary for more than 50 years and was very involved throughout his life in his community of Ville Saint-Laurent in Montreal.
The family will receive family and friends at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex located at 3955 Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse in Montréal, on May 24, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on May 25, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Peter Hall Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
