It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Michael Selwyn Joseph at

the age of 79. Born to the late Haddon and Olga Joseph, Mike is survived by his

beloved wife, Avice Roberts-Joseph. He was the loving brother to two surviving

siblings, Shirley and Joyce, and leaves to mourn many other family and friends.

Mike was a dedicated stalwart in the community, who played an integral role in

establishing several organizations in the Black community of Montreal. His

departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A service to celebrate dear Mike will be held on May 31, 12:30 pm at St. Thomas Anglican Church, 6897 Somerled Ave., Montréal, Québec, H4V 1V2.

Visitation: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Burial: 2:45 p.m.

Reception to follow at 4:00 p.m., St Raymond Community Centre, 5600 Upper Lachine Rd., Montréal, Québec H4A 2A6.
