It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sovoeun Sy, at the age of 76, on January 18, 2025 in Montreal.

She is survived by her sons, Vy and Meth; as well as her daughter, Savean.

She is also survived by her grandchildren : Sokpheaktra, Sokhoun, Sokhountea, Saroum, Ormea, Devin, Alex, Daravith and Baravin.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, January 31, from 2 PM to 9 PM, followed by a funeral service on Saturday, February 1, at 11 AM, at the Urgel Bourgie/Athos Funeral Complex, 3955 Chem. de la Côte-de-Liesse, Saint-Laurent, QC H4N 2K7. 

The family would like to thank the staff of the Ressource de la Montagne residence and the staff of St-Mary’s Hospital for the care and support they provided.

Sovoeun will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
