Dimitrios Lambrinakos

1932 - 2025

It is with profound sadness and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of Mr. Dimitrios "Jimmy" Lambrinakos, who died at the age of 93 on March 29, 2025, in Montreal, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on January 18, 1932, in Lakonia, Greece, Dimitrios lived a life defined by love, kindness, and unwavering generosity.

A devoted husband to his late wife, Panagiota "Popi" Lambrinakos (née Kalantoni), Dimitrios courageously immigrated to Canada, where he built a life of warmth, hard work, and profound dedication to his family. 

He was the cherished father of Peter Lambrinakos (Erin) and a proud and loving grandfather to Alexia and Dimitri.

Dimitrios was predeceased by his siblings Leonidas Lambrinakos, Nicolas Lambrinakos, and Soula Spyropoulos. 

He leaves behind a legacy of resilience, integrity, and unconditional love. His kind and generous spirit touched all who knew him, fostering lifelong friendships and a strong sense of community.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Urgel Bourgie/Athos' Town of Mount Royal Funeral Complex, located at 1255 Avenue Beaumont, Mont-Royal, Québec, H3P 0A1, on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Irene and St. Markella Greek Orthodox Church, located at 5390 rue St. Urbain, Montreal, Québec, H2T 2X1.

Dimitrios will be lovingly remembered as a devoted husband, caring father, proud grandfather, and a compassionate soul whose presence brought light and warmth to all who knew him.
