Joseph (Joe) Hogan, 89, of Wolfe Island, died at home on April 16, 2025, in Montreal. 

He was preceded in death by his seven older siblings: Harry, Helen, Betty, Jerry, Margaret, Dick and Sheila. Joe was the last of his line of Hogans.

Joe Hogan was a skilled horseman and an avid reader. He will be remembered for his wit and his unparalleled storytelling; his baking will also be dearly missed.

Joe is survived by his beloved wife Geneviève, his children Scott (Kim), Kelley (Laz), Karine, Colette (Roxanne), his granddaughter, Samantha, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be May 10 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Urgel Bourgie funeral home (1255 Beaumont Avenue, Mount Royal, Quebec H3P 0A1) followed by a celebration of his life from 4 to 5 p.m.
