It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Samira Leggiero, and celebrate her life. She was a second mother, a guiding light, and a source of warmth to all of us. She gave her love freely and without condition, always ready with a kind word, a thoughtful gesture, or a warm embrace.

Samira had a special way of making each of us feel seen and valued. She stood by us during our hardest times, and her kindness was quiet but unwavering, comforting and familiar — like home. 

We will miss her laugh, her stories, and the gentle wisdom she shared so generously. Her love lives on in all of us — in the way we care for one another, and in the memories we cherish. Samira is survived by her siblings Josephine, George and Tatiana, her nieces Naila, May, Caroline, Cybill and Iman, her nephews Jean-Pierre, Nick and Paul and all their extended families.

The family will receive condolences at the Urgel Bourgie complex located at 3955 Côte-de-Liesse Road in Montreal on April 28, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A memorial service will be held in her memory at Saint-Sauveur Cathedral, located at 10025 Acadie Boulevard, Montreal, on April 29, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.

Rest peacefully, Aunt Samira. You gave us so much, and we carry your love with us always.
