In Montreal, on April 27, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones, Filomena Innocenti La Villa passed away at the age of 97, wife of the late Michele La Villa.

She is survived by her son Angelo (Chantal), late son Antonio (Filomena), late son Rocco (Lolita), her grandchildren: late Maria (Nick), Mike (Anna-Maria), Pasquale (Mélanie), Isabelle (Martin), Nino (Dalia), Julie (Pascal), Eric (Laurie), Cendrine (Mario), Sabrina (Mervin), Sonia (Adam) and Alexandre (Jessica) as well as her brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, her nephews, her nieces and her friends.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Memoria funeral home located at 1120 Jean-Talon Street East, Montreal.

The religious ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at the Notre-Dame-de-la-défense church located at 6800 Henri-Julien Avenue, Montreal, followed by burial in the crypt at the Notre-Dame-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery (Mausolée Ste-Marguerite-d’Youville) at 2:15 p.m.
