It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Isabel Fernandes, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, on April 24th at the age of 83 .

Isabel was the devoted wife of Jose Egidio Faria, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage. She was a loving mother to Maria (Ivan), Inacia (Mario), Ricardo (Gemma), Ruth (Robert), Susie (Jason) and Wendy. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren Marcus (Maria), Justin (Caitlynn) , Mario Brandon (Alessia), Alex (Nadia), Samantha (Jack), Tyler (Kristara), Jordan (Vince), Melissa (Julien) , Anthony (Allison),  Alexa (Ashton) , and her adored great-grandchildren Oliver, Mylah and soon to arrive baby Voysey-Fernandes.

She is also survived by her dear sister, Teresa, and many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.

Isabel will be remembered for her boundless love, unwavering kindness, and the warmth she shared with everyone she met. Her strength, generosity, and spirit have left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

The family will receive condolences on May 5, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  at Urgel Bourgie / Athos The St-Hubert garden cemetery and funeral complex , 8145 Ch. de Chambly, Saint-Hubert, QC J3Y 5K2 . The funeral service will be on May 6, 2025 at 10 a.m. at  St. Joseph Parish of Chambly ,164 Rue Martel, Chambly, QC J3L 1V4 .  Interment will follow at Urgel Bourgie/ Athos St-Hubert Garden Cemetery .
