It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Giancola De Laurentis, who passed away on May 1st, 2025, in Kirkland. She was the beloved wife of the late Oliviero De Laurentis.

She is survived by her son Silvio (Felicia) and her daughter Lena (Don), her grandchildren Daniel (Nadia) , Sabrina (Dionysi) , Christopher , Phylicia (Jean-Philippe), her great-granddaughters Mila, Alessia, Emma, Melina, her brother and sister, cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as many relatives and friends in Canada and Italy.

The family will receive condolences at the Urgel Bourgie / Athos Funeral Complex, located at 1255 Beaumont Avenue, Town of Mount Royal, on May 12th, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on May 13th, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be held on May 13th, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Notre-Dame-de-la-Défense Church, located at 6800 Henri-Julien Avenue, Montreal, QC, H2S 2V4. The entombment will take place the same day at 2:15 p.m. at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery
