It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of João Luis Pimentel, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He passed away on May 8, 2025 at the age of 62, in Montreal, with his loved ones by his side.

João is mourned by his wife of 32 years, Helena, his children, Megan (Christopher) and Nathan (Cynthia), and his grandson, Liam. He is also survived by his mother, Maria Rosa, siblings, Emmanuel, Maria (Jorge), Albert (Kimberly) and Richard (Madalena), as well as his nieces and nephews.

The family will receive condolences on May 16, 2025, at the Urgel Bourgie complex located at 1255 Beaumont Avenue in Montreal, from 3:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A ceremony in his honor will be held on May 17, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the same location.
