It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Giovanna Cardone on May 23, 2025, at the age of 88, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Antonio De Ieso, Giovanna will be deeply missed by her devoted daughters Nella (Sandro) and Silvia, her cherished grandsons Evan (Pamela) and Zachary, and her precious great-granddaughters Zoe and Lily. She is also lovingly remembered by extended family and friends.

Giovanna’s passing was peaceful, leaving behind a legacy of strength, generosity, and deep family devotion. Proud of the unity she fostered, she will be remembered for her sharp mind, strong spirit, and the love she poured with those around her. Her memory will live on in all who loved her. 

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, located at 1255 avenue Beaumont, Mont-Royal, QC H3P 3J1.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at Saint-Jude Church, located at 10120 avenue d’Auteuil, Montréal, QC H3L 2K1, followed by the entombment at Le Repos Saint-François d’Assise.
