William (Billy) O’Connell 1926 – 2023

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 26, 2023. Uncle Billy was the beloved son of Bernard James O’Connell and Margaret Mary McKinnon. Uncle Billy was a decorated Canadian Army veteran in World War 2. In Korea, he served in the Canadian Navy. He earned a bachelors degree while working at CNR. He was a treasure to his sisters, brothers, and extended family. He was tremendous on three generations of nieces and nephews. His Christian faith always gave him strength and he will be sadly missed and always in our hearts and minds.
