It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marjorie (Pereda) Thérien on Apr. 20, 2023, peacefully in her sleep, after 100 well-lived years. Marjorie was a well-loved and inspiring woman, who will be missed by many. Born at home in Montreal in 1922, she lived through the Great Depression as a teenager, worked in a uniform factory during World War II, and later worked as a comptometer operator for CN. She learned early to make the most out of what life gave her. In her twenties, she enjoyed travelling, skiing, and biking with her friends before marrying Jacques (Jack) in 1953. ...
