1934 - 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mrs. Huguette Liboiron, who passed away peacefully on February 24, 2024 in Laval.
She was the wife of the late Michel Gougeon. She is survived by her daughter Nathalie Gougeon, her son-in-law Steve Chénier, her granddaughters Catherine and Amélie, as well as other relatives and friends.
A lover of life, a loving mother and attentive grandmother, a dedicated teacher for 14 years and an artist in her own right, she used her teaching talents throughout her life to teach us about resilience, love and the beauty of the world. She will be remembered for her quick wit, comic repartee and legendary sense of humour.
Family and friends are invited to commemorate her life by attending her funeral, Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Église du Bon-Pasteur, 400 rue Laurier, Laval, H7N 2P6. His loved ones will be present shortly before the ceremony to receive condolences.
The family wishes to express special thanks for the attentive and warm care provided by the team of caregivers at the Centre d'hébergement de la Pinière in Laval.
