Obituary
Carmen Delle Donne
1927 - 2023
We are saddened to announce the passing of Carmen Trivisonno, in Montreal on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at the age of 96.
Predeceased by her husband Tony, she leaves behind her son John and daughter-in-law Betty. She will also be missed by her sister-in-law Jacqueline, nieces Louise (Claude), Francine, and Gina (Jocelyn), her nephew Joe (Sheila), her great-niece Lyne and great-nephew Christopher, as well as devoted friends and acquaintances.
Carmen will be remembered as a strong, resilient, loving, and generous woman who enjoyed socializing, travelling, and telling a good story. Until her recent, more difficult years, she remained an avid reader, an excellent cook, a gracious host, a diligent worker, and a loving and supportive spouse and mother. Her elegance, style, sharp wit, and easy smile will forever remain in the hearts and minds of those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
All in all, she lived a long life with more highs than lows, more good times than bad, with the fortitude and grace to focus on the beauty and happiness she created in her home and for her family and friends.
A visitation will take place on Sunday, April 30, from 1pm to 4pm, at the Urgel Bourgie St-François d’Assise Funeral Complex at 6700 Beaubien Street East. A small reception for family and close friends will follow. At Carmen’s request, there will be no formal memorial service.
