It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Georgianna “Jan” Deeb on April24, 2025, in Montreal.

She leaves behind her daughter Andrea, son Michael (Sabine Ambaraghassi), grandchildren Juliana, Angelina, sister Vivian, and many cousins in both Canada and the United States.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at Urgel Bourgie (1255 Beaumont Avenue) followed by the funeral service on Friday, May 2 10 am at St-George Orthodox church (555 Jean-Talon East Street) and the burial at Jardin Urgel Bourgie Montreal (3955 chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse).Instead of flowers, donations to Saint George Church would be appreciated.

With thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at St. Mary’s hospital and the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care residence for their dedication, hard work, and compassion.
