It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Louyse Couvrette (née Bastien), wife of Pierre Couvrette, who passed away suddenly on Friday, April 18, 2025, on the eve of her 78th birthday. She has gone to join her parents, Maurice Bastien and Alice Ewing, and her little brother Pierre Bastien, whom she loved unconditionally.

In addition to her husband, she leaves in mourning her two daughters, Sophie and Caroline (Francis Rouleau); her beloved grandchildren, Émile and Clément; her brothers Claude (Hélène Archambault) and Robert (Jacinthe Talbot); her nieces Catherine, Dominique, Véronik, and Michèle, as well as her dear cousins and many close friends.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, May 14, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Urgel Bourgie/Athos funeral complex, located at 1255 Beaumont Avenue, Town of Mount Royal, Quebec. A ceremony will be held in the same salon at 3:00 p.m.
