Giacinto Licursi
1940 - 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Giacinto Licursi who left us peacefully on October 1, 2023, in Montreal at the age of 83.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Giacinto will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife Luisa, his children Donato (Annamaria Cacchione), Rosie (Marco Rosa) and Mary Sue (Richard Sabbagh) and his precious grandchildren: Flavia, Thomas and Kiara; Simone and Debora; James and John along with his brothers, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nephews, nieces and numerous friends.
Nonno Jack will always be remembered for his strength, jovial attitude and love of family gatherings.
A heartfelt thank you to all the staff of the Jewish General Hospital (palliative care) for their kindness, and dedication during his final days.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 6, at the Complexe Funéraire Urgel Bourgie, 6700 Beaubien E, Montreal, H1M 3E3 from 2 p.m. to 5p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9p.m.
The funeral will be held at Mont Carmel Church, 7645 du Mans, on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Giacinto Licursi to the Montreal Neurological Institute-Hospital or masses in Giacinto’s memory at a parish of your choice would be appreciated.
