It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Papà and Nonno, Antonio (Tonino) Di Clemente on Friday, April 11, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Devoted husband to the late Maria Pia D’Aversa Di Clemente, he leaves behind his loving children Vincenzo, Grazia (Kevin), Paola (Graham), and Franco (Francine).

This loss has left an immense void in the hearts of his adoring grandchildren: Karina, Giovina, Serena (Denis), Gabriella (Ryan), Laura (Joseph), Anthony (Tiffany), Massimo, Emma, Mia, Shannah, and Sasha, as well as his precious great-grandchild Ella Grace.

He was the brother of the late Alfredo (Rosetta), late Ida (late Ernesto), Anna Maria (late Nicola), Elisa (late Pierino), Gino (Caterina), Teresa, and the brother-in-law of the late Nicola (late María). He is also survived by many cousins, nephews and nieces, along with countless friends in Ottawa, Toronto, Italy, Australia and Venezuela.

Papà will be remembered as a kind and gentle soul; a talented pianist and cha-cha dancer, and a career taxi driver. He took pride in his luscious gardens, his home-made wine and tomato sauce. With his soulmate Maria Pia, he enjoyed many summers in his native Abruzzo. He cherished his family and friends and was happiest when his home was filled with his loved ones. He left the world a much better place.

Special thanks to the dedicated staff at Residence Champlain-Marie Victorin who took good care of our Papà over the last 3 years, to the compassionate staff at Hôpital Notre Dame and to the palliative care foundation PalliAmi. 

The family will receive condolences at Les Jardins Urgel Bourgie, 2500 Av. des Perron, Laval, H7J 1G5, on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

There will be a last visitation at Les Jardins Urgel Bourgie in Laval on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a memorial service and the burial.
