It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Josette Hachey, wife of Alain-Serge Marchand, on July 30, 2024 in Montréal. She was the daughter of Denise Bellemare and the late Jean-Paul Hachey.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Elisabeth-Véronique Marchand (Louis-Philippe Langis) and her son Guillaume-Nicolas Marchand (Véronique Bourassa), grandson Charles-Elliot Langis, brothers and sisters Guy (Christiane), Sylvie (Claude Vézina), late Evelyne (Alain Shooner), Susie (Daniel Dorval) and Jean-Denis (Annie Perron) as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences at the Church of Saints Simon and Jude located at 85 Sacré Cœur Street, Charlemagne, QC, J5Z 1W9 on August 24, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

The funeral service will be celebrated the same day at 11:00 am at the same location, followed by a reception for family and friends.
