Elias Badran
1948 - 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mr. Elias Badran on December 7, 2024, at the age of 76.
He is survived by his wife, Dolly Abou-Hanna, and his daughters, Paula (Danny Romeo), Rana (Marc Niedoba) and Mila (Rabih Dagher).
Jeddo Elie is survived by his precious grandchildren, Emma, Olivia, Eliane, Eva and Alex.
Elie will be sadly missed by his brother Nicolas (Fadia Semaan), and his sisters Yolla (late Bechara Kharrat), Lina (Samir Daher), Rita (late Samir Bou Malham) and Nicole (Georges Saad) as well as his uncle Maurice Barakett (Hélène Trad).
He is also survived by all his nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, other relatives and friends in Canada, Lebanon and elsewhere.
His joie de vivre, sincerity and unwavering love for his family will be forever etched in our memories.
You are invited to offer your condolences to the family on Monday, December 16, 2024, from 4 to 9 p.m., at the Urgel Bourgie Complex, 1255 Beaumont Avenue, Town of Mount Royal. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 11 a.m., at the Antiochian Orthodox Church of the Virgin Mary located at 120 boulevard Gouin Est, Montréal, followed by interment at Notre-Dame-Des-Neiges Cemetery located at 4601 chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Elie's memory may be made to the Antiochian Orthodox Church of the Virgin Mary.
May his memory be eternal and may his soul rest in peace.
